1. Can I modify or cancel my order? 

  • Upon placing your order, your item(s) are automatically submitted to our printer and placed in the production line.

  • You may be able to modify or cancel your order IF your order has not gone into production. Contact our Customer Happiness Team immediately at or call us at 513-291-3638 to inquire. If modification or cancellation is possible, we will do everything in our power to make it happen.

  • Once your order has gone to production:

    1. The order can no longer be modified (including modifying the shipping address) or canceled, as your item(s) may have already been created and/or packed for shipping.

    2. You’re responsible for choosing the correct shipping size/color/product and personalization (if applicable) when placing your order. If you made any such mistake and your order is already in production, you will have to wait for your order to be delivered to you; at which time our Refund/Exchange Policy will apply. 2. I forgot to use my discount code at checkout. Can I have it applied after I placed the order/ have it credited to my account/ have the difference refunded to me? 

We understand that it is disappointing to realize you placed an order and forgot to use a coupon. Unfortunately, we cannot apply the discount code after the order has been placed. Our operating platform and payment processing service are designed so that we never see your method of payment information. Therefore, we are unable to change the amount being charged to you. On that same token, our operating system is not currently designed to issue store credit ( although we have made that request to the platform developers). Additionally, it is not our store policy to issue refunds. 

3. I'm ordering an item as a gift for a holiday or birthday. How long will it take to get to my recipient? 

  • Production Time: Orders are typically ready to ship within 2-7 business days, depending on the item. Please see the item description to get the most accurate time frame as it may vary by item. However, during peak seasons/holidays, this production time may be extended. 

  • Shipping/Delivery Time: Delivery time typically takes between 3-7 business days depending upon the shipping carrier/destination. Holidays, weather, COVID, etc. may affect the delivery time.

  • Delivery time to Alaska and Hawaii can take an additional 7-12 business days.

  • PLEASE NOTE: Production time and shipping time are two separate time frames.

4. Do you print and manufacture all your products in-house?

We at The Wise Jester proudly design and create all products ourselves. Rather than being mass-produced like you get from most other retailers, your order is custom-made individually (and personalized when requested) and manufactured on demand with our carefully selected third-party manufacturers who are responsible for order fulfillment, including shipping. Using these manufacturers enables us to offer you the widest selection and highest quality merchandise at a fair price.

5. Why does my garment have an odor or an off-white residue or feels stiff?

When unpacking a new clothing or apparel item, it may be stiff, or you might notice an odor or an off-white residue. These are natural occurrences in the printing. Don’t worry, that’s not unusual, it’s not a defect or damaged; it’s simply from a fixation agent applied during the printing process and it’s not permanent. Fixation agent (sometimes known as pre-treatment) is used for all direct-to-garment prints across the industry. It helps the ink bond with the fabric, and without it, the ink would flake off the garment. The solution is simply to wash the garment! Neither the residue or smell is permanent, and both should go away after one wash.

6. Why is the color of my item slightly different than what I expected?

We have made every effort to display as accurately as possible the colors and images of our products that appear in our store. We cannot guarantee that your computer monitor's display of any color will be accurate.

7. The design on my hoodie is a different size than the design on my t-shirt. Why? 

Each apparel item has a specific print area to accommodate the design. Some may have a larger print area and others a smaller print area. 

8. I have had my tee shirt for six months and it is fading. What can you do? Can you replace it?

We recommend washing all our apparel on cold, with like colors and garments. All ink-printed clothing is bound to fade over time. How quickly that occurs is entirely up to the individual's washing and wearing habits. That being said, The Wise Jester is not responsible for the care of your clothing and will not replace an item that has faded over time. 

9. Is there sales tax on my order?

Packages being shipped within the state of Ohio will be charged the applicable state and county sales tax upon checkout.

10. Why did my items not all arrive in the same box or at the same time?

If your order contains multiple items, depending upon the type of items, your order may be fulfilled and shipped by more than one manufacturer. Therefore, your order may arrive in separate shipments and/or at separate times. We will email you the tracking number for each shipment so can check the status at your convenience. 11. Do you ship to Post Office Boxes?

No, unfortunately, we do not ship to post office boxes. More shipping and delivery info can be found here. 

12. How do I know what size I need to order?

Please refer to the sizing guide chart, included on every product page. You can also get more guidance on our Fit/Style guide page here. 

13. *********Are all your products made in the USA?*********

Apparel- We currently use four brands for our apparel: Bella + Canvas, Gildan, Next Level, and LAT Apparel. Some of these companies have factories for yarn and garment production predominately in the USA but utilize various factory locations in other countries around the world (Central America, Haiti, the Dominican Republic, India, Guatemala, Bangladesh, and Mexico), sometimes resulting in hybrid manufacturing (for example, yarn made in one country, garment sewn in another.) Others may exclusively manufacture outside of the US. We do not use any apparel products that are made in China.  The various companies we use are WRAP certified (Worldwide Responsible Accredited Production) factories and are committed to the highest ethical standards of conduct and best quality practices. All of these companies are sweatshop-free, forced labor free, and child-labor-free. Each company respects the rights of each individual it employs as well as demonstrates care and responsibility for the environment.

All of The Wise Jester t-shirts are designed, printed, sold, and shipped from the USA.

Other products- Other items we sell are sourced out by our various U.S based printers. Those items may be sourced locally or internationally. That varies on the item and the printer. While we strive to use only items sourced in the USA, we cannot guarantee the origins of every item being exclusively from the United States. Our printing facilities procure the items on which our designs are printed. We are constantly monitoring product availability and try to offer items manufactured in the US whenever possible. As with our apparel, we do attempt to ensure the manufacturers of the products we sell are sweatshop-free, forced labor free and child labor free.

Design, Printing, and Shipping- At The Wise Jester, all of our products are designed in Southern Ohio and printed in the United States, and shipped from the United States. 

14. How long has my item been sitting in your warehouse?  

Your item is always printed exclusively for you. We are a print-on-demand company. Your item isn't produced until you order it! 

15. I called/sent an email/text, an hour ago and you haven't responded yet. How long do I have to wait to get a response? 

We understand that everyone would like to have their questions answered and concerns addressed right away. However, that isn't always possible. Some days are busier than others. We will return your call/text/email within 2 business days. Please refrain from leaving more than one phone message/text/email in a 24-hour period that is in regard to the same subject/situation. Be patient. We will contact you.

16. Do you gift wrap/can you enclose a personal note or card? 

The answer to both of these questions is no. After your order is placed, it is sent to one of our many printers. We (and they) do not have to ability to wrap or personalize any gift enclosures.
